Chairperson’s message It’s almost twenty years since the concept and actualization of Heritage International School. The school started on a humble note way back in 2004 and has taken shape in steps. It happens with all good schools. First inception followed by conception and lastly the delivery. The school saw some 300 odd students on the year 2004. The elite mass used to get diverted to few eminent English medium schools of Daltonganj. The reach of education to remote and adjoining villages was feeble. It was the education drive and visionary efforts of the founder late Shree Jyoti Prakash and the lessons which I had learnt from him, not only as his son but also as the chairman of this prestigious school that has enabled us to bring underprivileged and poor students from remote places like Barwadih, Satbarwa and Chipadohar. As on today we have around 2400 students and we are committed to excel further. We are focused mainly on nurturing the school through administrative and academic excellence. It happens with almost all schools with maturity over the years. It sees different shades of success, failures, setbacks and learning processes and the journey of the school is destined to be punctuated with smooth and rough patches. That is the challenge and fun of the life process. We have outstanding infrastructure, punctuated with well qualified and keen faculty team. We stress on learning through experience, which prompts the child to think, wonder, rediscover and explore the world of his own. Experiential learning is our hall mark. I am happy to share with all patrons and stakeholders that almost the entire official website of the Heritage International School is redesigned.
